ALUMINIUM FORMWORK REFURBISHMENT PROCESS
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Kumar Solutions follows a systematic refurbishment process to restore old aluminium formwork panels into reusable construction systems.
01. Drawing
Preparation of project drawings, old and new module drawings, material planning and area statements.
02. Inspection
Sorting reusable panels, identifying damaged materials, inward verification and quality inspection.
03. Chipping
Removal of hardened concrete deposits and unwanted material from aluminium panels.
04. Dipping
Panels are dipped into chemical tanks to remove remaining concrete residue and restore surface quality.
05. Chemical Cleaning
Deep cleaning process to remove stains, deposits and contaminants from aluminium formwork.
07. Leveling
Straitening of panels, Remove undulations (if any) By using Hydraulic press machine
06. Welding
Welding is done for cut or Damaged part. Equipment used: Welding Machine.
08. Buffing
Making surface to receive the lacker coating. With the help of Buffing Machine.
09. Coating
To achieve smooth finish and easy removal of panel Coating with lacker is done Equipment used: 1. Air Compressor 2. Air Pipe 3. Paint Gun
09. Mock-Up
Mock-up of flats and staircase, lift. Check if any Modification required for hole matching.
